The number one factor why I can never complete and concentrate on my school work is due to the presence of a very hardworkingly irritating yet adorable curious little girl. She seriously needs to get to primary school level where homework piles like crazy. Maybe I should disturb her when she gets to homework-piling-stage.

I can’t wait for overnight-picnic with paternal relatives. Because I will get a chance to study at the sea side. Then again, I’d rather relax my mind.

2 days till History paper! I need to do some serious speed read. And some serious note-taking. *Pulls hair* The heat is on too. It’s +/- 3 weeks to Malay O-level papers. Did the paper set by SEAB yesterday and it’s easier than normal school paper. Obviously right?

I complained to my Love today! After more than 2 weeks (which felt like a month) of not updating my Love, I finally did. But the load is not off my shoulder. I’m still thinking. And I didn’t know that it was all back again when I still felt the same way that I did.

Flu alert!

It’s getting a little bad. Horrible in fact.

School is currently tight in controlling people moving in and out of school due to the orange alert for influenza A H1N1. Though it felt like visiting someone in the prison, I guess it was worth the wait. (:

Flu might just be one of the symptoms but for my case, I think it’s going to be quite hard to tell. I can get flu anytime. And I really mean anytime. Morning due to the coldness. Afternoon due to mixture of cold and hot. Night due to late sleeping. Oh yes, seeing me with flu is practically normal.

Lighter side of life, Issac and Shabnam were being noisy.

Help me people. I’m stuck between two lame people.

In-house Day!

And I thought we were suppose to clean the entire house.

Last week was family meeting at Grandmother’s for upcoming family event, PICNIC! Guess the date.

9th May.

Tomorrow will be family meeting at Mak Long’s.

Just hope it won’t be held anywhere near examination period! (:

Anyway, cleaned the entire house today. Tiring you know!

But actually, Sister did the whole work. I sat down and did EMaths Mock Paper 1. HEHE.

At the very least, I didn’t do my work on the ladder itself. Tsktsk.

I chatted with Sister last night. Telling her about my shopping list. And so I added in contact lenses. Although I’m still afraid to poke my eye. Hehe.

But well, I’m going to try. Because spectacles are getting on my nerve. Especially when it comes to going out in home clothes.

And Dad keeps talking to me using a mixture of Hokkien and Malay. And Mom has to help me translate. LOLS. I think I need to start learning Hokkien too. Tsktsk.

3 days of Adam Khoo Workshop was so totally worth my busy studying schedule. I learnt terribly lots of new things and relearn a whole load of old stuff. But of course, I know this wouldn’t have happened without the presence of the 3 awesome trainers who really made us realise all our challenges and why we have to improve.

Thanks to Mr Gary, Mr Danny and Ms Pamela for all the help and encouragement.

Day 3 was the significant day due to the closing ceremony. Yea, as predicted (cliché isn’t the word I guess, heh) my parents weren’t there. No, I don’t feel regret because at the very least, I know that I have myself to fall on. My SMS to Dad was just so heartbreaking.

“Most likely I can’t come. I don’t know what time your Sister knocking off work.”

I didn’t know I was that unimportant. Thanks.

Don’t talk about Mom.

Closing ceremony was amazing. 4TIC made a thank-you message for both Mdm Jas and Mr Rumi. I watched everyone walking towards their parents. I wondered why mine didn’t. And I realized, they have the sentence been-there-done-that in their mind. Wow.

Sang ‘If We Hold On Together.’ Thankfully, Mama Siti was there else I’d be stuck with tall people. Which I already was, in fact.

It was hilariously sad. I’ll understand, you won’t. Hehe. (:

So one side, Mama. The other side, Fauzi. Oh no, hand wasn’t that painful. It was still a-okeh!

When we thought it was over, Mr Danny said “School song!”

And I stood in between Fauzi and Kelvin. Yes, Kelvin made my shoulder ache like crazy. Why? Because he’s tall. Duh.

But it was worth it I guess. At the very least there was someone there for me to sing and go crazy with.

What I’ve learnt throughout the entire workshop from the 3 trainers?

Even the toughest will fall. But only the best will pick themselves up and carry on.

5. Chemistry lesson (for the first time this year) pissed me off.

6. I had to skip Social Studies and AMaths class just for debates.

 

Today was okeh because..

1. I laughed at people during debates.

2. Alif and Fauzi were being retarded throughout debates.

3. I saved $3 more for camera!

Groom and his relatives came at nearing 11. Abg Zali was super nervous.

After akad nikah was done, they had photo shots with 2 other gowns/suit.

After lots of sighing and lots of giggling and lots of shyness and lots of nervousness, couple left for Jamiyah Orphanage.

Headed to Cheng San CC at Ang Mo Kio as early as 10.30 only to find that Mak Long, Abg Fareez and Abg An still at home. Wapiang! When the people performing is coming at 11 and 12 respectively. Tsktsk.

Senandong Ria and Lentera Tari, both run by my very capable with any traditional arts brother; darah seni katakan, came and so did the bride and groom.

Having nice cousins can be super fun. Especially when it comes to the part where they become evilly nice.

It’s a custom to have the bride’s side blocking the groom’s way to the pelamin. So for us, we had 4 ‘stations’ to stop the groom. *Evil grin*

Food, talk, sabotaging, filled with many songs and slacking. Awesome. And after what felt like a hundred, Abg Amy, Abg Ali, Abg Udin and Abg Ar finally got sabotaged themselves by Abg Is. HAH. But Abg Haslan took Abg Ali’s place since he ran away from us all. And I really do mean away.

Nothing ventured nothing gain.

YEY! I’m updating. Been really busy nowadays, so lets begin.

Thursday was a very big rush. Had to check First Aid stock straight after Chemistry excel and I had no idea how Farah and I ended up in the hall doing duty. What’s more, we almost died because the ball kept heading our way.

Rushed home after Fauzi took over and prepared myself for campfire!

Was late but still managed to catch up with the rest since they waited for us at Dhoby Ghaut. Hehe.

At the canteen because we were hungry so we wanted to eat and also we were testing our vocal. Hehe.

Performance time. The right picture was during the teachers’ performance. HEHE.

Went out of the campsite at around 10 after a few snaps of pictures and leftover forfeit with Melvin and Akira.

I reached home nearing midnight and I thought my legs almost failed me. EHEM.

Friday was a day at Temasek Polytechnic. Psychology was the only awesome talks, the rest wasn’t that appealing but was still interesting. Went for training and I swear I thought I was going to smack some asses of some people. Recreation time was awesome. Everyone was aiming me and I was soaking wet! But at least I had fun despite the fall.

Sucked.

Went out today for Kak Diana  and Abang Zali’s akad nikah from morning till 6+. Tired! Wedding tomorrow and I have not done any homework for the week. Goshhhh!

Now, off to bed!
